How to use this template

1
Take your own copy
Hitting “Make a copy” drops a separate file into your own Google Drive. The template itself stays untouched, however many copies people take.
2
Type over the placeholders
Select the placeholder text and type over it. Spacing, headings and the layout stay exactly as they were drawn.
3
Fit it to your style
Colours, fonts and images change from the Google Docs toolbar — handy when the document has to match your own brand.
4
Send it out
Send the finished document as a Drive link, or take it away as a file: File → Download gives you an editable DOCX.

An all about me newspaper is a back-to-school and getting-to-know-you project: students present themselves as a news story, with a headline, facts, hobbies and photos. This template for Google Docs and Word gives a ready front page, so kids write short articles about family, favorite things and goals. Use it in the first weeks of school, for a student of the week or a biography project, and print it for the classroom wall.
